Sports bars / pubs in Vegas?

Anyone have good non-club / lounge bar recommendations for the strip area? Looking for a few “neighborhoody” places to check out just to grab a beer (hopefully one that won’t cost $10). Not sure if UNLV has an area with a bunch of college bars or anything like that?

I can return the favor if anyone has questions about Chicago bars!

Check out the Double Down Saloon and have some Ass Juice!

Double Down is a great suggestion for a dive-bar kinda experience. It's a neat place. Dino's is another dive-type joint just north of the Strat. The Griffin and Downtown Cocktail Room are also kinda cool in the "up and coming" trendy east Fremont area, just a block from the canopy.
