  • What's the best steakhouse in Vegas?

I went to the Brand at the Monte Carlo and it was ok, not great. Anything better?

Many people will recommend STK at the Cosmopolitan because that's the newest and hippest place, but I still think there are steakhouses in Vegas that have better food. My top three places would be:

    N9NE Steakhouse @ the Palms
Del Frisco's Steakhouse on Howard Hughes Blvd.
    Cut @ the Palazzo
    Vegas Trips to-date:
    November 12-13, 2008 - Palms Standard
March 18-22, 2009 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
April 22-26, 2010 - MGM Grand Bungalow Suite
    June 2-6, 2011 - Venetian Bella Suite
June 21-26, 2012 - Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace Suite

I've had really good meals at Craftsteak, Prime Steak house, and Delmonico. Outside of the hotels Lawrys has never disappointed me.

In my opinion, there's only five steakhouses worth going to in Vegas that'll have that New School Vegas Vibe.

          1. STK @ Cosmo
          2. CUT @ Palazzo
          3. N9NE @ Palms
          4. Craftsteak @ MGM
          5. SWITCH @ Encore

If you're looking for a spot with a bit more traditional atmosphere

          1. Prime @ Bellagio
          2. Carnevino @ Palazzo
          3. The Steakhouse at Circus Circus (YES, you read that correctly)
          4. Delmonico @ Venetian
          5. SW Steakhouse @ Wynn

If you want to go to a steakhouse where you'll be lulled to sleep by Spa Music, you have one choice.

          1. Boa @ Caeser's Forum Shops

Personally, I can't see myself going anywhere BUT STK over the next few trips - - it's really going to be an impressive place that'll take the crown away from them.

Craftsteak is my favorite modern steakhouse.
The steakhouse at circus circus is probably the best traditional steakhouse outside of NYC.

Modern and traditional steakhouses are very different experiences.

+1 to the Circus Circus steak house. Everyone looks at you crazy when you say its one of the best meals but its worth it. Old school feel for sure.

SW really disappointed. I had really high hopes but after spending $300+ and walking away underwhelmed I began second guessing my decision. There were some pro's: they took care of dessert for our anniversary and they got us a great table. $50 corkage is beyond insane!

We stayed at Encore and walked by SWITCH everyday. The layout looks great and I have heard nothing but good things. Next time I will make the call for SWITCH or Botero.

This site has a lot good information on it, I check on it whenever I’m online. I wish other sites spent as much time as this one does making information clearer to readers like myself. I recommend this site to all of my facebook friends. This site will make some massive passive profit I’m sure.

My favorite place to go when I'm there, and also here in Philly has to be Del Frisco's. My second choice would have to be N9ne, because you can then go to the playboy club

I live with a bunch of people that come into town for poker May-July and they make it a point to go to Del Frisco's at least 5 or 6 times while they're in town.

Of the steakhouses I've visited in Vegas, I'd rank them like this:

                              1. Carnevino, by far the best steak I've ever had. Everything here was great honestly. The atmosphere was not as dark as the others.

                              2. Delmonico, great steak, great sides, great service. Darker more romantic atmosphere that reminds me of a traditional steakhouse.

                              3. Cut, good service, worst steak of the three by a significant margin as the seasonings they use on the piece of meat they're offering you is just.. wrong IMO. I scraped the seasoning off of mine, as did a co-worker I dined with. Darkest atmosphere of the 3. Great breads and mac & cheese.
