  • Cosmopolitan 2 bedroom city suite

Had anyone stayed here or even seen these suites? I am trying to get thoughts on staying in this suite for about the same price as two 2 bedroom suites at planet hollywood towers. We have 7 people so the extra bed and showers at PH would be nice but I think that the living space will just be wasted. I am thinking that the cosmopolitan will have a better vibe, but not sure on how the room is inside. Any info would be great, thanks.

    been to both

We stayed in the Cosmo 2 bedroom terrace suite this March and at Planet Hollywood Towers 2 bed suite last march. The room at Cosmo is swankier with a kick ass bathroom. The terrace that wraps arround a dn the view of the Bellagio fountains and the strip at night are awesome.
The drop down projection screen tv at teh PH Towers is pretty insane.
You are much more in the middle of the resort at Cosmo. PH Towers got old having to walk through the mall to get back to the room all the time.
If you can stay at the Cosmo for the same price then its a no-brainer. My experience has always shown PH towers to be much cheaper.

Thinking of doing the same with 8 guys... can 8 guys fit in a two bedroom suite at Cosmo?

        Sure

Depending on how tight you guys all are. I shared it with one other guy. We like our space!
But the main living area can sleep a couple on the couches (they may fold out to a bed, didnt check). The second bedroom has a living area as well that someone could sleep on the couch there too.
I would ask when you book it if the 2nd bedroom can have 2 beds. Ours each had a king but if you could get more beds that would help as well.
There is a funky countoured loungy chair in the living room someone could crash on as well. The space is their, might not be the most comfortable for everyone but its there.

Although I haven't personally seen the rooms, I have seen PH Towers and I would go with Cosmo hands down. Just the location and vibe in that place is awesome. PH Towers is great until you walk to/from the strip... its not terrible, it just got old.

im confused. the Cosmo doesnt have do 2 bedroom suites. it has a bog standard room called the City Room. which is only a 450 sq ft studio with 2 queen beds in the room. i also have a feeling the is no terrace with these rooms

Ive stayed at the Cosmo and the 2bedroom suite u mention is even on the website

They had just sent me an email explaining all the options they had for 7 people and mentioned that 2 bedroom city suite. I know it is not on the website, which is why I was looking for information on the room. Its not the wraparound terrace suite with the extra room. The email says it has 1 king bed in the master and 2 queen beds in the other room.

If there's a big couch it can fit 7.

People have fit 6 or more in the 2 BR at PH. Don't think you would need 2 2 BR suites there

Yeah, we got a Two Bed Suite for a night at Cosmo.

You could fit 7 if you wanted easily. 4 on the two beds which leaves 3 in the living room.

Really is an insane room and I got it for $120 when they messed up my original room!

Is this the so called Lanai suite that has an outside whirlpool?

When we went, we fit 10 girls into the 2 bedroom suite at PH and that was very comfortably as well!

I stayed in the wraparound terrace suite with 2 others. Being a 900 sq.ft suite you'd think it would sleep a decent amount of people. From what I was told they don't offer any wraparound terrace suites that have sleeper sofas. So the sofa in the suite did not turn into a queen bed.

The City Rooms don't have a balcony. Your best bet would be to get two one bedroom terrace plus suites. The "plus" means it'll have a queen sofa sleeper in the living room.

I'm really confused here. I've stayed at the cosmo and in the process of booking my return trip and have never come across a 2 bedroom suite? Where is it on the website? The standard room is the city room with 2 double beds but it doesn't have a terrace and isnt 2 separate bedrooms and isn't a real suite, it's the smallest room they have....I would be fascinated to know what the 2 bed suite is called...

I too am curious about these 2 bedrooms suites. I've personally stayed in the wraparound and Lanai suites, seen photos of the Presidential suite, but never a 2 bedroom suite....
