Ventian Upgrade help

We have a Bella Suite at the Venetian for Sept 11th through the 14th. Right now we have 5 people in there and we will probably be the main pregame room for the trip. I was thinking about offering a 50-100 dollar sandwich to ask for a bigger suit that would be better for the group. Are there other solid options with 2 beds and more SQFT or should I just stay in the bella? I guess the real question, is there a specific suite I should ask for with the sandwich and will the $100 be overkill.

Bella Suite should fit 5 people just fine; however, the Rialto suite is the larger version (with 2 beds). I say go for the $100 sandwich, but be specific in what you ask for...if they can't accommodate your request for the Rialto suite, I don't see the front desk clerk pocketing the $$. In my experience, it's usually handed back to me if they can't do anything to help.

You could ask for an upgrade, but honestly there's not really anything to upgrade to from a bella besides something much higher tier. The rialto looks a little bigger but its also a lot more expensive.

I've stayed at the venetian/palazzo 3 times and read many handshake attempts at this hotel and nothing ever really works.

Don't want to get your hopes up. Go for it. if they won't upgrade you, they'll usually give the money back.

If they don't give you the upgrade, at least ask for waived resort fees. Was there a couple of weeks ago and sandwiched to get fees waived on 4 rooms (didn't need an upgrade because was already booked into Renaissance Suite and 3 Bellas).
