  • MGM SkyLoft or Cosmopolitan Bungalow?

Two of my friends and I are travelling to Vegas, for Scotland, March 1-8.

We've booked 5 nights in an MGM SkyLoft, spending the weekend in a Skyline Terrace suite.

However, we had a look at the Cosmopolitan Bungalow, and think that this is the best of both worlds.

Will the pool parties be on in March? Is it really difficult to sleep whilst Marquee is open?

We are all 22 and it'll be my 2nd time in Vegas.

So, what do the Vegas veterans think? MGM SkyLofts, or Cosmopolitan Bungalows?

Bungalow is only worth it if you're there on fri-Monday to get marquee access.

So you're really trading the bungalow for the terrace suite

I would say bungalow over skyloft on those days - but it becomes less valuable if you are planning on hitting up other clubs like XS omnia Hakkasan on the weekend
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

      Sorry to hijack the thread

If you are staying in The Cosmo Bungalow do you have direct access to the day club? If so, does the bungalow have its own cabana or would you still need to reserve one?

      Thanks

You have direct access to the day club (and night club). You can walk in and out as often as you want. The ground floor terrace of the bungalow has a gate that opens into the day club. Each day you will need to get wrist bands. But you can walk through the club to the front to get the wrist bands. I recommend walking out at 11 am sharp when the club just opens to get your wrist bands. The bungalow does not come with any other real estate. If your goal is to meet women then you do not need a cabana. The bungalow is essentially a 3 story cabana.

          Thanks for the response eastcoast.

The thinking is that they may cost more than we would usually spend on accommodation but if we're saving by not having to get cabanas for the Saturday and Sunday then it may be worth it. Plus the bungalows do look amazing!!!

Have you stayed in one before? Are they worth it?

I've stayed in a bungalow for long weekends in June 2013 and June 2014. It is ridiculously awesome but it does effectively lock you into Marquee for the entire weekend. Those with bungalow experience like to discuss the bungalow by private message because you do have to be sneaky about somethings. Private message me with any and all questions you have. I've traded private messages with multiple people who have stayed in bungalows.

Id take the Bungalow over Skyloft. I was impressed with it. Carl (JC member) had one, and we really only had one issue. He was from the UK, but he kept trying to fake an American accent to pull women, and that just creeped all the women out. Other than that, Bungalow was awesome.

Why the fuck would you fake an American accent when Americans love English accents. That makes zero sense. His swag game is on negative 150,000 for that one.

You know! I found that when we were there we could pretty much say anything we liked. No matter how cheeky, suggestive or border line we got away with it because we have English accents! Love it!
