Will be staying in a Hollywood hip room I'm July with the wife. Would like to get upgraded to a suite using the sandwich . Should I offer 20 or 50?

For 20 i received room 2089, which was middle of the hotel with a fab view on the fountains/paris. Anyway it was not enough for a suite (which i didnt asked either). I would go for the 50 to have a higher rate of success.Previous Trips

October 2015 - Cosmopolitan, Vdara (Panoramic Suite) -
showed a $20 on the desk and the guy pulled out a book of their rooms and said " show me what you like", got to the boulevard suite and he stopped me and said it was his favorite room. 5 minutes later we were playing pool in our upgraded suite.
Ended up giving the guy $40 because of how awesome the room was. did check in on a monday though.Comment

I have had pretty good luck at PH..both rooms were upgraded from standard hollywood hip room
6/2014 - $100 sandwich got me an upgrade to the Panoramic Suite
12/2014 - $50 sandwich got me an upgrade to the Resort Vista (waived resort fees too)Next trip: ???Comment
