  • Best Bachelor Party Suites?

I'm just beginning to think about my own bachelor party for next May (necessary to keep me sane throughout the wedding planning). Any thoughts on an excellent suite to use as a home base for 15 or so guys? Not that everyone will sleep there - lol - but a spot to pre-game and/or post-game, re-live the events of the previous night, etc.

I went to a BP where we stayed at one of the 2BR suites with a foosball table in Planet Hollywood, and that was decent but was hoping for something a little nicer. Bungalow at Cosmopolitan looks sick but I imagine it's out of the budget, although a Wraparound Suite would work if I can't find/afford anything bigger/better. Villas at Mirage look pretty sweet, but I don't know if they'd be a good party atmosphere or location.

I think I could probably work $2k/night into the budget (especially if we can sleep a few dudes in the suite), so I'm not talking about a Cosmopolitan penthouse, the MGM Mansion or any other high roller stuff.

    Some options -

    Aria Executive Hospitality Suite
Cosmo 2 Bedroom City Room Suite
    Venetian Renaissance Suite
    Palazzo Lago Suites
    Mirage Hospitality Suite
    MGM Sky Loft

The Mirage villas are pretty much what you make of them since they are isolated. If you plan on having party and inviting lots of people then they will be a good time.

I'll second the Aria exec hospitality suite (awesome!) and Palazzo 2bdrm lago. I'd avoid the media lago at palazzo, wasted space in my opinion, especially for a bachelor party. MGM marquee suite is also very nice! I know you said $2k a night so don't be intimidated if the MGM suite is 3000$ Friday or Saturday because it balances out over the course of your stay. On other nights you can nab it for typically 6-700$ if you book in advance.

MGM terrace suite with connecting double grand queen room sleeps 6-8 depending on if people want to sleep on couches. It has a wicked outdoor terrace too.

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Great feedback from everybody, thanks. Leaning towards getting something with a terrace, but otherwise any of the options mentioned on here would work.

MGM Terrace Suite looks awesome. I am going to try to rack up some mLife points on my trip in July and then book this suite through mLife. If I can get it for about $700/night it seems like a winner.

If you book through MLife you can get bumped if a higher rated member wants the suite. That happened to me. MLife can blow me.

How many guys are you looking to sleep in the room? is this just a home base or to sleep a bunch of guys? Saving money on the room can go towards BS. Plus you're not in the room much anyway. Just a thought.

Keep an eye out online for coupon codes that you can use and apply to the room.

I would lose my shit if that happened.

I'll look out for deals and will probably book either the MGM Skyline Terrace Suite and a bunch of regular MGM rooms, or a Wraparound Suite at Cosmopolitan and a bunch of regular Cosmo rooms - whichever is cheaper and/or closer to the majority of clubs we end up wanting to go to.

I really just want something to use as a home base for everybody to meet up, have some drinks and make plans or rehash the previous night's adventures.

If you don't book through MLife (and called not "booking through the Casino", and instead "booking through the hotel"), it'll be a couple hundred dollars more, but it'll be almost impossible to get bumped. Tough decision, but I went with the non-discount hotel/no MLife booking since it was a major weekend. Well worth the peace of mind knowing that we wouldn't get bumped.
