Aria $20 sammich fail

Can help but lol at this one.

Just checked into Aria at 2am. Empty lobby. Politely greeted front desk girl by name and handed her my ID, CC, and players card with a $20 in the middle. She checks and puts the $20 on the counter. Checks her sceen and writes 54*144 on the notepad next to her. I think sweet, top floor. Not a bad win. Then my gf notices the $20 and politely grabs in and puts it in my back pocket thinking that i handed it to the girl by mistake. I get a smirk back from the girl and she tells us about how she was able to upgrade us to an amazing city view suite and writes 20*108 on our room card envelope and rolls her eyes. Lol, got a regular room overlooking the valet. Checked out room77.com to see what room we would have gotten and it was a top floor corner.

It was just hilarious and wish I could have it on video. I guess I always assumed she knew. But when we talked about it in the elevator I realized she was always getting drinks, in the bathroom, or looking at shiny things when I normally checked in. She thought everytime I did a sammich it was a comp from my host.
