Anybody had any experiences with a sandwich at TI?

I've got two rooms booked under my name for 4 nights. Was thinking about doing a $50 sandwich in hopes of having resort fees waived for both rooms. Maybe some free buffet passes as well.

Does Treasure Island still have the optional resort fees? If they do then you wouldn't have to pay them anyway.

I stayed there in December 2013, I couldn't get waived resort fees but $20 got me a strip view on a high floor and a TON of drink and b1g1 buffet coupons.
