Venetian Sandwich

Sorry if there's another recent thread for this but anyone have luck with upgrading a room at The Venetian with a sandwich? I am going April 29th-May 2nd (Wed- Sat) so I'm thinking it may not even be worth trying because hotels may be pretty booked for the fight. But wondering if this is even worth trying?

Always worth trying, in my opinion. 99.9% of the time if they won't do it they just politely refuse and hand it back to you

Agreed. Always worth trying. The last time I was there I booked my room through the undisclosed deal section on hotwire (Really cheap) - Which defaulted to one king bed. I needed 2 queens and an early check-in. Flashed a $50 and it worked like a charm.

Since the rooms are already suites, I think it's more beneficial to ask for a view, early check-in, or to be moved to the Palazzo (Since it's newer).

Last time I went and got an upgrade without tipping. Just showed them cash, and asked them, and she upgraded me to a suite with a view (same room just one with a view) so I decided not to tip her lol.

Most likely won't have much available since it's fight weekend. With that said, there's also not a lot of options to upgrade too since they really only have 3 room types. I've stayed there several times and they have upgraded our view and switched us to palazzo before just from asking.
