My friend stayed there when she came with a big group of girls. She didn't rave about it but she did recommend it to me if I had a big group. Also look into mom signature.

i stayed there last year for MDW, we had a one bedroom suite and they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite for free. I thought the rooms were very nice. They do check your key card but i literally had 9 people in the room and as long as you have a couple key cards with that many people they didnt care much. Its a great location the rooms are huge, modern, and i love the kitchen lol.

How was it getting to the strip? Can you walk through Planet Hollywood to get to the strip?

IMO, Elara is the best place to stay if you want an affordable suite. No wristbands but you do have to show your room key to get to the elevators. Elara is connected to Planet Hollywood by the Miracle Mile Mall. Takes only 5 minutes to get to the strip. You wont regret staying here especially if you get a two bedroom suite.

The walk to the strip is not long at all. 5 minutes or so. and yes it connects to planet hollywood.

My group has stayed there for several trips, it's simply too good of a deal to go anywhere else if you have a large group who all want to stay together.
