$300,000 spent on one dinner at Prime Bellagio

One anecdote Murren cited was a $300,000 dinner bill during the Consumer Electronics Show in January for a party of more a dozen at the upscale Prime Steakhouse inside Bellagio, which included wine with a price tag upward of $15,000 per bottle.

Looks like the big spender has been identified and after he took the Bellagio for 1 Mio gambling it was only nice of him to give 300k back through eating and drinking. Using a 300k tab to show that spending is opening up though might be a good PR strategy to your investors but it kind of goes out the window when come to find out that before that you actually lost a million to the same guy .

paying $300K for dinner out of $1mm in winnings is a lot different that just paying for it out of pocket IMO - funny how when the whole story comes out puts a bit different spin on it.
