Any opinion on the palazzo vs venetian?

Venetian tends to be a little bit cheaper. Other than that they are practically the same.

In my experience I prefer Palazzo. Yes they both have the bella suite and it is identical but when I stayed at Venetian I had a two person couch and two single person sofa chairs in the living area and when I stayed at Palazzo I had the L shape sectional which doubled as a pull out bed. Much more comfortable for my extra guests. Also in my experience Palazzo is a little more money, but when split 3/4 ways it is always within 50$ per person for Palazzo for 5 nights so it's a no brainer for me.

Staying at Palazzo again this July.

I always sneak more than 4 per room and never get caught. Here's what you do.

1. Have 4 people check in. Make the the others stay away. Ask for 4 keys.
2. Go in and out of the elevators separately in order to pass through security.

Yeah, asking for 5 or 6 keys is a dead give-away. Don't do it. If you follow the above you should be good.

Can you elaborate on #1? So are you paying the extra guest fee? Or what do you mean by four people checking in.

Just check in and ask for 4 keys (max number at once) then go back down later and ask for however many more you need. no hassle

I think he means he has a group of more than four for a single room, but only four people go to the counter at check-in to land four keys (the other two go gamble, or something). With four people on the reservation, nobody is going to ask questions about handing out four keys. You're paying a little extra for the four-person reservation, but spread across five or six people it's not that bad.

No need to worry about 4 people on the res. I've done it before with only 1 name and they've given me 4 keys without questioning.

I've tried but there's not really anything to upgrade to except for a lago suite and those are much more expensive than the bella so not really a chance to get upgraded.

Doesn't hurt to try though. They will just give your money back if they can't do anything.
