Hi!
This is my first year planning a trip to Vegas April 3rd - 5th. I've been to Vegas the past two years where other people planned it but.......eh figure I plan my own trip this time around!
I've read through a lot of the stickied threads, but bare with me if I ask something that's been answered already. There's a lot to read through!
I'm going with probably around 8-12 people, mixed between girls and guys. I've heard you can get pretty large suites that house that many people, but it sounds like those are just unnecessarily expensive. I'm thinking about just having like 2-3 per room (if we do 3 per room, I assume the third will have to be under the table?). But I'd love to hear thoughts on this.
I've stayed at the Flamingo and the Cosmo before, and thought both were fine. Personally, I'd love to stay at a hotel that isn't ridiculously expensive (maybe 130/person total) that can hopefully offer a pool party and a well known club. The first that comes to mind is something like Cosmo again or MGM Grand. If the hotel offers free admission or any preferences to their guests for the pool or club, that would be a huge plus!
Also, misc question. How do you guys handle a big club like the Hakassan without bottle service? The only time I ever went there, I got lost in an instant and took me ages to buy a single drink. It seems like for the bigger clubs like that, bottle service is the clear answer?
If you guys want to suggest pool parties/clubs too, I'm more than inclined to listen! I've gone to Tryst, Hakassan, Marquee, and XS before. I personally thought that Tryst and Marquee were small enough to not need a table to rendezvous, but that Hakassan and XS were so big you needed one. My group is about 24-26 years old, will probably want a upbeat scene with lots of people our age. The guys will probably be looking to meet girls and the girls will be doing what girls do. I'm personally the type that enjoys a mix of EDM and hiphop or top 40s music, not really into the all EDM scene.
Thanks!
