Vegas in May 2015 (Cosmo)

Hi,

I am currently looking to come to Vegas in May (7th-12th) and want to book rooms at The Cosmo.

I’m looking at prices for x9/10 rooms at the moment – looking at prices for both standard rooms and also the rooms with a balcony.

I have looked at all the standard websites for room bookings and was wondering if there was anyone specific I should/could contact at Cosmo for a better rate? We would obviously also need the hook up for clubs etc. while we are there.

I know Mayweather is fighting the weekend before and thought prices would drop off a little the week after (which is why we thought it would be better to avoid fight week) however the prices are all still pretty expensive!

Try the small group and celebrations department at the Cosmo. On the website click on Stay and then Small Groups and Weddings. 9-10 rooms might be big enough to get their attention. Do NOT hesitate to ask for a reduced rate. You may get nowhere with them. They will be looking primarily for groups that want catering so they can sell you food and drinks. But worth a shot.

there is a music festival called Rock in Rio Friday/ Saturday that weekend.

Justen or Cliff Orr (586.489.4531) are both at Marquee and are both great. Either will do you right.

Plan on spending a lot of time at day clubs.

I've always been to Vegas out of the pool party season so looking forward to it this time - Do people get tables and party hard during the day and then do the same in the evening? I don't think I'd be able to handle both for 4 days and nights!!

Yes they do both, just depends on how much you and your group can take. As to if the club contacts can help with hotel deals I wouldn't count on it. As mentioned the weekend you are planning to go is one of the Rock in Rio Weekends and I was just surfing hotel rates in May/June and these two weekends seem to be highest priced weekends in that time period even more than EDC in June and Memorial Day Weekend, crazy.
