Upgrading to a suite question

Two years ago we were able to upgrade our two basic rooms at the Cosmo to one of the cool 2 Bedroom City Suites with a $50 sandwich and a small fee. I'm hoping to try something similar this year. Right now, I'm thinking PH because of the huge upgrade thread on here.

I'm wondering though - did having two rooms make the upgrade easier to pull off? Since we'd like to try for a 2 bedroom panorama at PH should I book one room or two?

not really..to be honest, it's all random. based on what days you are staying, length of stay, and current availability

OHHH and also how well you can speak to the front desk employee

Anyone familiar with asking for best view for a skyline terrace at MGM?

I've got one booked in 3 weeks and I want to tip the front desk and aim for the best view I can. I know there are 14 of them there.
