  • TRYING TO FIND BEST SUITED HOTEL FOR 30s FUN COUPLE

    Hi there guys.

Flying out to Las Vegas from London next year and staying over Memorial Weekend. Its myself and my wife flying out for our first vacation without our young son. We flew out to Vegas last year with our boy and we stayed at the Palazzo as I wanted to stay somewhere pretty mellow and family friendly which was cool under the circumstances.

This year its just us two, we're looking to hit a couple proper clubs, buy a lot of drinks at night let our hair down big time. By day were looking for a hotel that considering its Memorial weekend we don't really wanna do the big pool parties unless were going to see a particular performer. On the regular daytimes we just be chilled around a decent, friendly sociable pool where we'd find a lot of late-20s to 30s guests. Just want to nurse our hangovers somewhere cool, have a good laugh with some cool similar aged guests and see some beautiful people while my wife tops up her tan etc.

Basically trying to avoid the wild screaming college crowd BUT at the same time don't want to be around a regular pool finding mostly 40s-50s guests. Basically looking for preferably a five-star hotel, where we fall into their typical age range without the clientele being too uptight or pretentious.

I was looking at Cosmo but a couple people told me might be packed out and a bit crazy during the day. Was also looking at Aria but I've heard they got more of an executive clientele down there. Just looking for some other opinions or recommendations on the above hotels or maybe some others.

Hope you can help me out guys. Any contributions most appreciated. Cheers.

all the big name five star hotels will be very pricey for the holiday weekend
pool/nightclub lineups will be out probably around 30-60 days out

If I'm a fun 30's couple (and it's only another year before I officially hit that age bracket!) I'm staying at Cosmo. It's got the atmosphere that you are talking about and I wouldn't describe it as the "college aged crowd". If I'm a little more budget focused then I'd probably check out somewhere like Planet Hollywood which has a "hipper" atmosphere than some other hotels.
