We are staying at MGM in Sept, and we have 3 King suites in the West Wing, any chance we could sandwhich our way into comperable rooms or better in the Grand Tower, or is it even worth it, is there much difference between the 2 ?

I am also interested in this. Our group has 4 West Wing rooms booked. I was thinking about $20 per room to try and upgrade and get all the rooms close together. Would be nice to score 1 suite at least, but just getting any upgrade would be nice. I havent stayed at MGM before, but it sounds like the West wing rooms are pretty small.

I've stayed at MGM my last seven or eight trips to Vegas, but never in a West Wing room. I haven't heard very good things about them though. According to what everyone else had said they're super, super small.
Are they just really cheap compared to the tower rooms or something? If not you'd probably be better off booking the cheapest tower room and then trying to get upgraded to Executive King or Executive Queen rooms.

Thanks for the resonses guys, its 3 couples and we each have our own king suite in the west wing.I'll try a sandwhich and see what it gets me, the other couples may just stay with what they got. We check in on a Weds and are leaving Sunday, Sept 24-28,think that will help or hurt my chances?
