Sandwich to Suite@Mirage?

Has anyone had luck sandwiching to a Suite at the Mirage of late?

Have a group going to Vegas and currently have two connecting queen rooms booked but looking at the 2br Hospitality Suite. Stayed at the MGM Grand last year, same scenario, and had luck in the same situation upgrading to a Skyline Marquee Suite with $100 Sandwich.

First time staying at the Mirage, so not sure on how they are in these situations. Also have to note that we have two dates in mind, Aug 7-12 and Aug 27-Sept 2 (most likely Aug 27-Sept 2 date).

Any replies and tips are greatly appreciated and thanks!

We had luck last year, had one comped room Friday-Monday offered $50 dollar sandwich and got upgraded to a Penthouse suite! Have another trip planned for later this year and plan on doing the same thing and hopefully well get same upgrade. Hope you have the same luck.

We may even try to parlay the two queen rooms into the 2BR Hospitality Suite, as there is less change of the hotel losing money that way, might give us a better overall chance. Not sure how much the 2BR Hospitality Suites usually cost, as they don't seem to have prices advertised, or if they have a connector you can attach as well?

Anybody have luck in previous LDW's with the same scenario in getting an upgrade to a 2BR Hospitality Suite, especially if you arrive before Thursday?

anyone have any recent luck with a sandwich at the mirage? does everyone try to find the youngest clerk possible to ask for a sandwich?
