  • High Prices in September?

Hey guys; was looking to make a trip to Vegas towards the end of September for my buddy's birthday but the prices are pretty high...is that part of September busy?

Yah September always carries a pretty decent price tag, I'll be heading back down myself in September. I've done a few trips during the month in the past and there will be more than enough people down there. Is kne of in the weather sweet spot as well as there will be a decent amount of 90 degree days still for the pool, and then cooler evenings (at least that is what I have found). My advice book it and have a ball man.

Agreed September the weather is perfect. It's is cheaper then May/June (of course excluding LDW). I believe iheart is returning the 3rd week of September so that weekend should be decent.

i was looking at Sept 19th and 20th and then leaving on the 21st..the rates are really high that weekend; but then suddenly drop the weekend after. Is anything specific happening on that weekend?

Don't know my exact dates yet, but yeah was just poking around getting a general idea for prices and I'm finding some really good deals anytime after I heart radio weekend, so will probably book my dates for after that week, to maximize my how long I can stay and get a better hotel.

Ah iHeart Radio weekend, i didn't even know about that. What website do you book your hotels through? Last time i managed to get Aria for like $79 a night through Expedia's hot rate deal...

                  Hey!
We're a group of 6 looking at this same weekend Sept 17-21, 2015. Same shit different pile in 2015 it seems!
Been doing rate analysis 6 ways til Sunday for almost 8 weeks, and we get the same high price results. Lots of hotels aren't even forecasting rates for that weekend (RateShepherd), so were kind of concerned... Still haven't booked anything as of today, but looking to get something central strip this week (Cromwell, flamingo, Caesars, PH, etc.). using lmtclub.com or goseek (best rates we've seen so far).
Let us now what you come up with, and which sites!
                  Cheers!

Mr. Olympia is also that weekend which is going to drive rates up. I booked a long time ago and got a great deal because i was planning on going to olympia.

I suspect the following weekend (26-27 September) has great rates on the strip as the Life is Beautiful festival takes place in Downtown Vegas, so most people will be looking for hotels closer to the action. Was a lucky coincidence I happened to book my trip for that weekend, would be great to meet some JC people for a drink or three if anyone else will be there that weekend, let me know.
