Did you use roll in beds or did you book an extra room for sleeping since there is only one king Bed?

That would have been a good plan. But no. Cosmo told me we could get one roll away bed and perhaps more based on availability. But I kept forgetting to ask. There were five of us in the bungalow (shhhhh though, only four are allowed). One dude slept in the bed. The rest slept on the sofas scattered around the bungalow. The sofas are not not comfortable (hard as rocks). But we were so drunk each night it did not matter. One guy did sleep on the third floor terrace sofa and said it was comfortable. My suggestion is to get as many roll away beds as you can but be wary of extra cost (Cosmo may charge you a fee per night in excess of one, or even for that one, so ask).

Man. Just when I couldn't get anymore excited for my trip I read this report. Only problem is my reservation is in 2 months. Just curious. Does the convenience store (Vitals) on the first floor sell alcohol? I know it's slightly marked up but technically you're buying it from the Cosmopolitan right? I wonder if you can get a way with that. Keep the receipt and be like. Dude I bought it from here.

As for cups, I guess you can make friends with the people in the cabanas and ask for stack of cups in exchange for a shot or some drinks. Just some thoughts. Looking forward to your video.

I completely missed the 4 person max. So that means the bachelor party that had 15 people might have to pay cover for 11 people for each venue? I thought someone said 12 people were comped in a previous thread.

This is from the Cosmo email to me:

"The Bungalow Suite grants complimentary access for up to four people to the dayclub but does not grant access to any seating, cabanas or day beds at the pool. To reserve a section for the group, we would work with VIP Host at Marquee for pricing and availability. The initial entry to both the dayclub and nightclub must be done via the club’s main entrance. At the entrance, each individual must provide photo ID, and payment (if applicable) to receive their stamp/wristband. Once the stamp/wristband is received, the individual is free to travel back and forth to their Bungalow Suite as desired."

We entered MDC three days. Only one of the three days were we prompted to pay cover for the guests in excess of four.
We entered Marquee two nights. Neither night were we prompted to pay cover (and security said on Saturday night that he would stamp as many people as we brought through). I know for certain that Cosmo enforces every rule and actively seeks out violations. But the good news is the 4 people limit is a Marquee rule.

Agreed on the stealth although the bungalow rules enforcement is way way way different than a wrap around (I have had wrap arounds many times and no one cares what we bring in there). I think I have a good plan for addressing this on future trips.

More tidbits. I will post as I think of stuff.

Another great aspect of the bungalow. Another poster mentioned this too. On Saturday night we went to a late dinner and hung out in the bungalow until 11:45. We watched out the window until the club was crowded and then we went outside. If we had booked a table we would have had to get to the club an hour earlier.

MDC opens at 11:00am. We walked out of the bungalow at 11:00am every morning to get our wristbands. That way there were not a lot of people about and security moved quickly to hook us up. Then we went back inside.

One head's up. People outside can see into the second floor window. I thought it was tinted. Lesson learned!

I can't tell you enough how fucking cool it is to walk out of a gate from your bungalow into the crowd. Literally every single person in eye sight stared at us. We were (for the weekend) ballers.

Every group has a couple of guys who are the leaders at initiating contact with chicks and guys who lay back and talk to chicks who come over. Send the leaders out to chat up and they will bring back every chick they invite. The hit rate will be 100%. Just point to the bungalow and offer to refill their drinks in the bungalow. We were 100% on invites accepted.

                  BigPimp,

Just so I get it right. The 4 person limit for the Bungalow is Cosmo Hotel's rule for sleeping overnight? But during the day (or night) that you are not sleeping, you can have 20+ people in your bungalow - standing/sitting, drinking, talking, etc.?

So weird about them being stingy with the outside alcohol (and the butler coming by all the time), but it must have stemmed from getting busted right off the bat. When I stayed in a penthouse, we weren't supposed to have any outside alcohol, but they literally didn't care. When they cleaned our kitchen every morning, they even lined up the bottles nice and neat for us, and set out new glassware. Also, we definitely had up to nine people staying in the penthouse, and it wasn't a problem (max was 6). Maybe they're just extra weird about the bungalows, or something? But you're paying so much, you'd think they'd be a bit more lenient.

Oh well, thanks for the report. Sounds like fun.

You need to talk to your host about that one.

If you're at Marquee, just bring your receipt to the Identity window and they will give you points. I did that last year and this year and it worked out.

quick question fellas…did you guys book directly through the hotel or did a host set you up with getting the accommodations? Interested in trying to book for a Fri-Sat in August.
