Access is not the right term. I should have used a different term. I didn't mean the ability to get into the club. You are right for $50/person anyone can get into a club. I was referring to the proximity of the bungalow to the club. We look at the bungalow (because of its location inside MDC) as more like a 24/7 cabana. So we are getting a hotel room four four people, the equivalent (or close to it) of a cabana at MDC for Saturday and Sunday and the equivalent (or close to it) of a cabana at Marquee for Saturday night for $8,500. That's a good deal in my mind. We will also buy our alcohol and mixers at Walgreens so rather than pay $16-$17 per drink at the club we will pay a few dollars per drink. The fact that I can roll out of bed at 11, walk 50 feet into MDC, after MDC walk 50 feet and take a nap until 11, then walk 50 feet into Marquee (with a shower in there somewhere), is a big selling point to me. And at any time I can walk back to the bungalow (or take new friends back to the bungalow) with ease.

We're thinking of doing something very similar with a group of 14 for a Bachelor party in August. Thinking of getting the Bungalow for Thursday night and Friday as the costs we have been quoted are $1400 Thursday, $3,000 Friday and $7,000 Saturday. So we figured we'd have it for Thursday and Friday even though Marquee isn't open on Thursday evening. We would go somewhere else on Thursday evening then have it for MDC on Friday and Friday night. What is MDC like on Friday? Is it worth the extra to get the Bungalow Friday and Sat rather than Thurs/Fri?

Did you manage to get this video??Originally posted by BigPimp View PostI will definitely take video of us walking in and out of the dayclub and nightclub through the bungalow gate. I think that is the most common question and I can't find good video of that online. I want everyone on here to see what the gate looks like, what the access to and from is like, how far the bungalow is set back from the action, etc.

I won’t attempt to organize my thoughts.
1. The location is unbelievable. There are 10 bungalows along the right side of the day club (which is also the patio of the night club). Each bungalow has a gate that opens up directly into the day club. We had bungalow 3. We were advised by the front desk that bungalows 3-6 are the best locations because those open right into the center of the day club. The layout of right side of the day club is cabana, bungalow gate, cabana, bungalow gate and so on. Every single chick we invited to the bungalow for a drink accepted. And why wouldn’t they? It would be similar to accepting an invite to a drink from a cabana except instead of walking over to one of the tiny cabanas you can walk over to a three story bungalow. We actually spent more time in the bungalow than we did outside. I have a video showing how easy the access to the club is. I just need to load the video. But to be clear the gate opens right next to the opening of a cabana so you are right there. Our bungalow 3 opened 20 feet from the outdoor bar.
2. Our cost was $4,000 on Friday night, $6,000 on Saturday night and $2,500 on Sunday night. The bungalow has a two night minimum. We initially booked Saturday night and Sunday night because Friday night was $6,000 (and we chose Sunday night because it was so much cheaper than Friday night). We were able to negotiate a lower rate for Friday night and then added that onto the trip. My suggestion for days to stay is (1) first choice, Friday and Saturday nights and (2) second choice, Saturday and Sunday nights. Marquee nightclub is not open on Sunday nights. You will get the most bang for your buck if you go Friday and Saturday nights so you get two day club days and two night club nights. You should not plan to go to any other day club or night club. You don’t need to and you will miss out on the benefit of the bungalow if you go elsewhere. We went to 1OAK on Friday night and regretted that decision. We wasted a night when we had the bungalow. Yes our cost was high - $12,500 plus 12% tax. But in exchange we were the kings of the day club and night club.
3. The security at the day club and night club is very active. The day club gives wristbands, the night club gives hand stamps. The first time we came out of the bungalow each day/night, security would be all over us. But in a good way. We never had to walk up to the front of the club to get a wristband or hand stamp. Security would check our IDs and give us the wristbands or hand stamps right there. The security was for the most part very very serious about their jobs (no smiles, all business) but very easy to deal with. The bungalow comes with 4 comp’ed entries. We had five guys. One day they made the fifth pay the cover. But the other days and every night they did not.
4. You cannot bring non-Marquee cups into the day club or nightclub. So buy your first drinks at the club (which come in the Marquee cups) and thereafter you can refill the cup in your bungalow. You can walk in and out of your bungalow as many times as you want. One caveat – one of our new friends on Saturday advised us that a security guard told her that she could not bring cups into or out of the bungalow (even Marquee cups). That happened only once. We had probably 50 people over three days going in and out of the bungalow. So I would estimate that security stopped a guest 1 time in maybe 1,000 trips in and out. I think security’s response was directly related to one of my group getting drunk, continually taking a non-Marquee cup out of the bungalow and being a dick to security when security said only Marquee cups. My suggestion is this – hide or discard all non-Marquee cups (plastic or glass). Have only Marquee cups in the bungalow. I expect that will limit the issue from arising. I also suggest that you tip the security guard assigned to the area by your bungalow. $20 seems like a small tip but no one else is tipping them.
5. Here is the HUGE issue we had. HUGE. The rules are very clear that you cannot bring in your own drinks. Cosmo wants you to order from Cosmo (where if I recall Goose is $250/bottle plus a service fee which is at least 20%). Nobody wants to drop $6,000 for a hotel room and then pay those rates for liquor. The bungalows are meant to be party suites and Cosmo wants to cater the parties, hence the rule. The bungalow is not meant for dudes who are using it for access to the clubs. That’s where the rules and intended use don’t work well. But we knew the rules and we just fucked up. We went to Strip Liquor and bought 6 bottles (4 big bottles) and a bunch of mixers for $225. Add in cab fare and our liquor cost for the trip was looking like $250. All of sudden the cost of the bungalow was looking worth it! Our plan was to load the liquor into a suitcase, sneak it into the room then stash it in the room. But one of my guys thought hey we are big dogs with our bungalow so they won’t bother us. He put the liquor on a bellman cart and made it about 10 feet in the lobby before we were stopped. After waiting 20 minutes to get clearance from management to bring in that much liquor, we were charged $703 which consisted of corkage fees and a service fee on the cost of the bottles had we bought the bottles from Cosmo. All of sudden our cost was $950. Granted that was way less than our cost if we bought directly from Cosmo. But it was a slap in the face in large part because we had a plan and one of our guys fucked it up. The butler service absolutely and completely sucks ass. We learned that once you sneak your liquor in you have to hide. The butlers are on patrol looking for rules violations. One night at 4:45am a butler came in (uninvited) announcing “butler service with cold water” (he was carrying two small bottles of water) and he roamed the bungalow presumably counting the number of guests. I met him on the second floor and told him to get the fuck out of my bungalow. Precisely my words. He exited. I was irate. The butlers spent the weekend checking our liquor. We bought beer (wisely the large Bud Light bottles sold in the club) and hid it in the fridge on the third floor terrace). I put the beer boxes in my backpack and threw them out off property. We told housekeeping not to go up to the third floor. The butler would regularly walk in without knocking. The front door of the bungalow has a bolt (that replaces the old hotel door chain). We put the bolt on 24/7. We could hear the butler trying to open the door all the damn time. He constantly tried the door. Yes he was trying to come in to check our ice, cups, etc. and re-load if we needed and ask us what else we might need. But fuck him. I don’t need a butler nosing around so the hotel can ding me with another fee. I’m paying $6,000 a night so leave me the fuck alone. So here is the deal. If you want to avoid any stress and want a butler around 24/7 checking in to make sure you have all the ice you need, which would be a cool perk because you will blow through ice quickly, then spend the extra money and buy your bottles directly from Cosmo. On the other hand if you want to avoid the extra cost ($300 from Cosmo or $15 from Strip Liquor) then I have some ideas so pm me. I think our next trip we are just going to suck up the extra cost and buy directly from Cosmo. I’d like the butler around 24/7 without worrying about what he might find. Cosmo bottles are still half of what Marquee charges. We broke the rules, we got busted, we paid the price. I just wish the butlers would have been cooler.
6. The cost of a grand cabana for Saturday was about $12,000 ($8,000 minimum spend, 38.1% taxes and tips, host tip, security tip). The cost of the bungalow for 3 nights was $12,500 plus 12% tax. The grand cabana looks nice but it is absolutely nothing compared to the bungalow. If your goal is to pick up chicks, then grand cabana is not the option to choose, choose the bungalow.
7. You will get Cosmo identity points for hotel charges but not for Marquee charges. So I just picked up a shit ton of identity points that I can apply to my next stay.
8. In summary, I will NEVER stay anywhere other than a bungalow. I will never book a table, cabana, day bed, etc. in Marquee. I will never go to a different club. Except of course on Sunday night. It was that awesome. But to be clear my group likes the benefit of being able to invite back guests (the talent level we invited back was absurd).

I second the butler, when we had ours (Chet if I remember his name correctly) Came in like 3 times the first day. I tipped him $100 and told him if I needed him, i'd call him. Didn't see him again unless I called him. Left a $50 each day for house cleaning with a note that said - "what you see stays here" We had bottles everywhere, and had no issues. Housecleaning even took the empties and never got charged. Guess it just depends on how you play it. We had a Fri/Sat combo as well. First night I asked the security guard if he was working this post tomorrow (saturday) he told me he always does, I tipped him $100 and told him to have a good time. He funneled women right into the bungalow, didn't have a issue with cups either, we actually partied a bit on that patio and just drank there (small as it was)
