I'm sure this has been asked before but which hotel brings the best party vibe? Looking to come back to Vegas in September and looking at these hotels. Stayed last year with the guys in Flamingo. Decent price and decent hotel pool but we want to amp it up this time. I know PH is much cheaper than Cosmo and Wynn/Encore but how is the party scene there compared to the other two hotels? Is PH walking distance to Cosmo? Maybe I can stay @ Ph and party at Cosmo? Which place will bring the most sexiest women/vibe? We are in our mid 30s

    Thanks

You can definitely walk from PH to Cosmo as it's right across the street. I normally stay at PH as I am always getting comped there. I think it's the hotel for young people that can't afford the Wynn/Encore or Cosmo. The club scene is non-existent but they do have a couple pretty good bars in the hotel or the attached Miracle Shops and it is the closest to Cosmo and also closer to the clubs at the South end of the Strip (Hakkasan, Light). I have stayed once at Encore and while it's definitely more upscale than PH, I wouldn't necessarily categorize it as a party hotel outside of the specific club areas.

Sounds to me you are looking for everything that the Cosmo delivers, it will cost you a bit more than PH but you won't regret it!
An 8,000 mile journey is always worth it when it ends in Vegas!

So thinking about booking a regular room at PH then booking either a terrace studio or wraparound at Cosmo for Sat nite, would that be a good idea? Just not trying throw a bunch of cash into a room.

If you do want to experience the Cosmo fully for one day then that's not a bad plan to keep cost down. I personally just don't like having to switching rooms in the middle of a trip, especially in Vegas where I never know how hung over I might be and nothing worse than possibly being without a room while you switch if all u want to do is just rest for a few hours.

I've switched rooms during my trip before, and I don't think it's worth the headache. I would never do it again. In all honesty though, I don't think you'll regret staying at the Cosmo...even if you have to cough up the couple extra bucks.

I don't think that is a good idea. You can walk to the Cosmo in about 5 minutes from PH. You don't need to stay at Cosmo to enjoy the atmosphere. Save the money you would spend on the hotel and instead spend the money elsewhere.

Scratch my prior email. I noticed you are in your mid 30s. I agree with KG25. Cough up the extra cash and stay at Cosmo.

There's a significant jump in price so it really comes down to your budget. How many people are going? Cause keep in mind booking A wraparound suite gets you a very large room, but just one bed (and I always assume guys are not as used to piling in with friends as girls are lol). If you guys can afford it, Cosmo is the best IMO. But if you can't, PH is an easy walk to Cosmo. Hanging out at Cosmo is definitely the best vibe, but there's not really a reason you guys can't hang out at the bars and etc. in Cosmo for as long as you want, it's just across the street. Wynn/Encore is also a nice option, I've never stayed there though so don't have much to say about it.
I'm not bitchy, I'm just drawn that way.

My group of 6 guys had this discussion for our upcoming trip. What it came down to was cost vs convenience. We wanted the party/crowd of cosmo but we also realized that we are only going to be in our hotel room for roughly 7-8 hours tops per day and that time will be spent sleeping. So we opted to go with PH as it saved us roughly $1200 for the group which is then being applied towards another night of drinking. Our plan is to eat and sleep at PH, hang out and gamble at Cosmo.

You won't regret PH at all, remember, in Vegas the hotel room is a glorified locker! PH is a good home base to start from
