Cosmo problem!

Wanted to throw this out to see if anyone can offer advice on how to handle..

Will be in town May 16th to 19th for a convention. The travel agency the convention used to book blocks of rooms was not able to get me a discounted rate for the 19th. I am good the 16th to 18th (about $250 a night) but the 19th they want to hit me with a $650 nightly rate. I went ahead and booked three nights and trying to figure out how to get the 4th night at a similar rate. Thought I might just address it when I arrive but dont really want to risk getting kicked out of my room if the rooms are all sold out for the 19th. Any advice on how to handle? Calling the 800 number at Cosmo went nowhere and the agency said they cant do squat either.

Just talk to them when you get in. Say that you'd like to stay an extra night provided you get the same rate. If they don't take it then try again on the day of your check out with another agent.

if you are a marriott rewards member, the 650 nite is a great nite to spend your points room should be about 40k points.

If you are not a Marriott rewards member and you stay @ cosmo, you should be

What kind of room do you have booked? City rooms are $600 on the 19th, which is around 650 after taxes. Those first three nights are a steal due to Recon, especially Saturday/Sunday.
