i already have a wraparound booked for 2 nights. would a sandwich get me a better upgrade? also will it help me with a better view, extra keys, and possibly a late check out? if so how much should i sandwich? will there me any ther fees? thx for the help if anyone knows

What kind of upgrade are you looking for? Their wraparounds are pretty awesome. The only feasible upgrades a sandwich MIGHT do is a Lanai or Two Bedroom City Suite which IMO are not any better than a wraparound. Lanai is actually pretty small compared to a Wraparound and the Two Bedroom has no terrace.

The sandwich can definitely help with a better view of the Bellagio Fountains and/or a higher floor. So as far as the amount, I'd actually start by just being friendly and politely asking for an upgraded view since you already have a wraparound, otherwise, a $20 should suffice since you're really only asking for a better view.

Enjoy your stay, I've stayed in that room plenty of times!

I had a wraparound last year and gave a sandwich... Didnt get an upgraded room but was pretty high up and the guy gave me $100 dining credit so that was nice.

In a similar position soon with a wraparound and adjoining one bedroom. How much did you tip for that upgrade? As the previous poster mentioned, I'm not sure it's worth looking an actual room upgrade.

I only sandwiched $20 kinda figured I wasn't going to really get upgraded having a wraparound already but I'm sure that is enough just to ask for a view. Also try getting East Tower. closer to the strip and all the rooms are closer to the elevators and if you can the view of the bellagio fountains.

champ I always ask for 4 keys total every time I check-in in vegas and i've never been declined or got questioned about it

              Hi all,

I also have booked the wraparound in Cosmo for a few nights. I am happy with the suite but fancied some extras (who doesn't?!). What would you ask for? I would probably sandwich $50:

              1) View first?
              2) Coupons for restaurants?

              Anything else worth pushing?

              Thanks

you gotta be smart, first make sure you're enrolled in the Marriot rewards programs prior to check in to show that you're a "Marriot loyal customer", use that in your check in small talk
and always try to make sure you check in with someone of the opposite sex...
seems to work best for me
After the sandwich, we always ask (in this order) for upgrade, view, and if they're working on the day we checkout...this is key cause you want the same person on check out, so you can attempt to get the damn resort fee removed...and always keep some annoyance or complaint in your pocket as last resort (AC didn't function, terrace had dirty cigarette trays, toilet didn't flush, soap gave me a rash in my most private areas ) just in case nothing else works.

                Good luck.

I'm a Marriott Gold. They can see right away when they bring up your Marriott number how many lifetime nights you have with the program. So the above isn't really going to work.

                    I'm also a Marriott's Gold member.

I'm really happy with the wrap-a-round suite. Does anyone else think there is a better suite?

I think I'll try and get a great view on a high floor (close enough to the elevators!)

During my sandwich attempts - I'm throwing everything I have to see what sticks...I have nothing to lose...

That's generally a good plan but something that is obvious BS might elicit a negative response instead.

What rooms adjoin to the wrap around? Is it only the one king or do any of them have the two queen? Same floor? Going to try this when I go in June. Have the One Bedroom Terrace suite, see if a $100 will work for me.

$50 sandwich got me a upgrade from a Terrace Studio to a Terrace One BedRoom with a fountain view (saturday, sunday, monday nights). Best part though was the waived resort fees

I like Cosmo because they have multiple checkout lines for each agent, so I generally pick a younger female and socialize first before trying to sandwich and seal the deal haha
                            Next trip: ???

I have the Terrace one bedroom and the terrace two queen, hopefully an upgrade works.
