So in the past when I have done the upgrade sandwich all I said was "are there any upgrades available" and sometimes yes, sometimes no. I was wondering, do you have a higher success rate if you have a specific type of room in mind?
For example you reserve a 2 queen bed standard room. You check in and specifically ask for a room on a higher floor with strip view or an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite.
Obviously the more money in the sandwich the better the odds, but I was wondering if being specific had a higher success than just asking for an upgrade?
