Hotel Room Party Expectations

Hello all,

I am staying at Cosmopolitan soon and have questions concerning hotel room parties and what the hotels' expectations are.
There are 4 of us and we expect to party at Marquee and then move the party to the hotel room.

Are there quiet hours? Will I get kicked out if the party goes late? Will the cops be called?

Does anyone know what the Cosmos process is for addressing too much partying? I just want to know the limits and what I can expect from management if we get too crazy.....

You can get kicked out. If you don't leave cops can come.

I don't know the threshold in which you will get kicked out though.

I've got the Executive Hospitality Suite at Aria booked for a friday night.

I am assuming since it has Hospitality in the name that they pre-planned for people to be somewhat loud.

Think I should be safer there?

Seriously? Are you 18? Be respectful of the people around you. The DJ will quit at Marquee at 3. You won't get to your room until 4:00 at the earliest. If you want to be rowdy go to a late night club. Or go to Bond or Chandelier. We have after parties at Cosmo in our hotel room - we have music on and drink but we don't disturb other guests. That is not cool.

Agreed. You can have your music on and you will be fine. You won't be contacted by security unless you're having an all out rager. We're not undergrads anymore lol

Just go to Drais or the Artisan if you're not finished yet. I don't get why people want to party in their rooms in Vegas, I consider a hotel room a glorified locker!

Most Hospitality suites are used early in the night. Let's be honest, trying to modulate the volume of 8-15 drunk people just doesn't work well. If you want to keep partying, the hotel bar is easy and if they ask you to leave you just head back to your room. People REALLY don't like waking up to a ton of noise at 4-6am.

Hi, i just wanted to put in my two cents, but i did stay at the Cosmo the weekend after x-mas, and we were told to stop our " in room party". I will admit, we were kinda loud, so that could of been a reason why. I was told by the staff that the cosmo is a family hotel and do not appreciate "in room parties". We had about 6-8 people in one wrap around suite by the way. Perhaps if you could keep quiet, you can get away with it, but it probably isnt any fun trying to keep your friends quiet when they are intoxicated.

On a scale of loudness 1-100 (100 is absolute music blasting rager)

I am trying to throw a decent sized party from like 9 pm to 3-4 AM in an Aria hospitality suite. Hoping to have between 10-20 people and not get kicked out lol >.<

If you want to keep partying, the hotel bar is easy and if they ask you to leave you just head back to your room. People REALLY don't like waking up to a ton of noise at 4-6am.

Makes sense. Im going to try my hardest to let it go as long as possible. Pre-game in the room and now thinking I can go do GA to Haze with a few people then head back to room.

Or maybe Gold lounge?

4 People for gold and a table would cost me what?

Can you get walked in to gold if you use a JC host?

I think if I were 18 I wouldn't be asking the question. I am asking the question to know my limits and to make sure and police people if they are getting to loud. I don't plan on disturbing other guests. Perhaps I should ask the question a different way. If I am playing music with teh audio equipment equiped in the room should the room be able to handle that music without bothering other guests? I am asking tehse questions because I don't know not because I am looing for a green light to cause mayhem....

The expectation of the hotel's guests are that they expect peace and quiet when their head hits the pillow.

Personally, after parties = going to an after hours bar/club or hang at the bar at the hotel. The in house system can disturb people if raised because it is completely quiet at 2/3+ AM.

The questions on your end you need to have answered is can the group that may come back to your room be able to abide by the hotel and people's expectations of quiet at that time. And are you willing to put up the risk of being kicked out for that group and after party if your idea of policing is different from the property's.

You'd be surprised how many 18-20 people go to Vegas just to party in the rooms and walk the strip. I know a quite a few pe opel who did that in my younger years. I personally think it's retarded, but to eaches own.
