  • Suite to throw a 20-30 person party in?

Going March 12-16th and looking to get a suite for 4-6 of my buddies and I to throw a small get together in.

    January 4th I had: http://media-cdn.tripadvisor.com/med...2-lv-luxor.jpg

    It worked very well.
    • Rather large (1000+ SQ ft.)
    • Had a bar with sink/mini fridge
    • Separate bathroom (AWESOME!)
    • Floor to ceiling windows
    • Nice bedroom bathroom
    • Couch and living room
    • Far from anyone and decent noise suppression

My original plan was to party in the room all night but my brother and I ended up winning a ton of money that day and we got a table instead.

We would like to have a party the Friday of that week in a suite.

I have looked at the following:

Luxor - Decent suite for price but old and far from action
Vdara - medicore prices but suites look nice (never been)
Aria - medicore prices but suites look nice (never been)
Elara - High prices but rooms look amazing
MGM - Ok prices, rooms are ok, possibly skyline marquee suite?
Signature - Prices seem good. Best to throw a party here?
Palms - Far from action, can't find really any prices on anything

My budget for a suite that night would be around $300-700 for the night.

Would like to not get bothered, be able to sleep at least 6-8 and get a decent rate. Also would like more modern.

I'm a fan of the Hospitality Suites at Aria. Tons of space, two large TV's (one in the living room and one in the board room). Wet bar with seating. They are at the end of the hallway so the only shared wall is in the bedroom. Less likely to disturb your neighbors. They are very modern. I've hosted around 15-20 people in one of those and had a buffet setup, and still had plenty of room. Oh, they have an empty mini fridge too that you can put your own drinks in.

That said...the Skyline Marquee Suite at MGM looks badass...I think it would be out of your price range though.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

+1 for Aria. Gorgeous modern rooms and in the center of the action if you decide to party elsewhere.

Ah i do see a bed.

If i am looking for 2 rooms, anything else come to mind. That does look like an awesome place though and $500 isn't too bad to split between our group.

Don't do it at Cosmo. I had a large get together with a bunch of friends after a night out at Light and we weren't even being too loud, but they saw us all go up from the elevator bays. I got kicked out of the hotel within a couple hours.

You looking for 2 suites, or a suite and a standard? Do you want them connected?

Hotel32 atop Monte Carlo has a large penthouse suite, and the skyline suite at MGM immediately came to mind...

                Connected, not connected.

Whatever seems to make the best area to have 20-30 people in and stay in a night or 2. Ideally i would like to hang out in the room friday and club it saturday or vice versa.

I believe that Palazzo possibly has some of the best connecting suites?

I might be able to put budget at $1000ish for 2 nights either 2 rooms connecting 2 nights or 1 room both nights.

I brought all my friends to that suite in luxor and it was the biggest one they had seen lol.

Each trip I try to go a little bit bigger so this is the next step up

The two bedrooms suite at Elara would work, but it is a timeshare hotel so I'd request one at the end of the hall.

In regards to this I think i have decided to go with the Aria Hospitality Suite.

Now to minimize the chance of the party getting shut down, what kind of precautions should i look at taking.

We plan to have 15-30 people in the room.
Music either through speakers or an actual DJ.

                    Besides that nothing crazy.

I have never been to Aria so I am not sure how the elevator/staff work. Should we come up in small groups?

Are those rooms pretty good at containing noise?
Should i tell the front desk anything like it's someones birthday, bachelor party, company event etc etc?

I'd bring people up in smallish groups. As long as you flash a key I don't think security will bat an eye at the elevator. I wouldn't say a word to the front desk. If I talked to anyone it would be the neighbors. Just give them a heads up and ask them to call or stop by if they have an issue. Most people will prob be cool if you show a little respect ahead of time. The rooms are as isolated as you can get though. Keep the music in the board room and you should be in good shape.

Terrific. Thanks for the quick reply.

Sounds like a good plan. I dont imagine everyone shows up at once.

Spent a good time being in charge of a fraternity house and noise always ended the fun.
