Booking Vegas/Cosmo start of April final 4 weekend

Looking to book Vegas at The Cosmo April 3-7. I usually just use Travelocity because I am use to it
Should I just book it now(this far out) at a price range in the Mid 900s per person, I guess my question is for regulars that travel to Vegas 3-4 times a year is there a timing trend on when to book at a better rate? Like maybe prices for April are better Jan or Feb?
I booked the same trip, same hotel, same date last year and if I remember correct when I booked it was around the same price in Feb

Book directly w/ the hotel. Continue to review rates, you can always cancel and rebook. Most cancellation policies allow full refund up until 48-72hrs prior to check in.

I think you need to book it now because if you wait too long the prices will be higher just because you're closer to the reservation date.
