Hotel advice for a Vegas newcomer

Rialto Suite at Venetian is a great option. Reasonably priced, 2 queen beds and a living area. Great location as well.

Under the assumption $400 per head is for the total for the 4 nights they are spending a few ideas/feedback. So min 6 peeps is $2400 max 10 peeps 4k available for room spending.

To load up for pre gaming, chips, etc for throughout go to www.vons.com and sign up for a free membership. They deliver to all of the hotels and sell liquor, beer, food, etc. Free 1st delivery. Used it in July and was delivered to the room $10 tip to the guy who brought it up.

Did Palms for a bachelor party 5 years ago. Never again. To far off the strip where you are always cabbing to get anywhere on the strip.

If you decide on rooms,only have 2 of the guys check into each room and have the others hang around the lobby if you go 4 per room. They usually will only give 2 keys but ask for a back up one just in case. If your plans keep all of the guys together for the parties, etc, 2 is enough. Some do charge extra for the 3rd and 4th person for the room.

Aria in City Center is centrally located and the Deluxe Queen Room for those dates is $173/night before taxes and daily resort fee of $25 per day. If 4 split the room say $60 per person per night for this equals $240 out of the $400 projected per person.

Outside the box thinking. Stay at Vdara which is in City Center. It is non gaming, centrally located, and are suites. They are all 1 bedroom but for those dates $119/night plus resort fee and taxes. 2 share each one call it $87 per person or $348 each for the 4 nights.

If 6 are only coming you want to go big baller, shot caller, Hangover 1 and 2 style: Vdara 2 bedroom 2 story penthouse suite with a pullout queen sofa, so now 6 can stay in there for all 4 nights $2320 before taxes and resort fee or just the 2 bedroom 1 story penthouse suite with a queen pullout sofa for $1960 for the 4 nights before taxes and resort fees. Just a thought. 6 peeps is $2400 all in. Personally, punch the boys upside the head for an additinal $100 each and get the suite if there are 6 only. Call it the deal closer with the chicks.

Now the cheap side central location of the strip if it is going to be used for primarily pre game and crashing:

Harrah's basic double queen $390 total for the 4 nights before $25 per day resort fee and taxes. So all in $600 for the 4 nights or $300/person. Did this for my bachelor party this past July. I have a Total Rewards card and got 10 rooms with 2 of those comped. We did 2 per room and it was a cheaper rate.

Flamingo Fab Deluxe with 2 queen beds $408 total for the 4 nights so $620-$640 all in with fees and taxes or $310-$320 per person for the 4 nights. Also have a few pools that are free for people staying at Flamingo.

Take a look at the casinos' websites I mentioned above to look at the rooms, pools, etc. I am sure you can also find things cheaper if you use one of the websites like hotel.com, etc. This gives you a general idea just going to the casinos' websites not using any players cards or reduced rates.

Thanks so much for all of that info!! So helpful, Vdara looks awesome! Their website isnt very helpful, i cant see the 2 story suite but it sounds great and im sure i can squeeze the extra dollars out of the lads.

What are the general thoughts on the Elara? The suites there look incredible and they are cheap as chips....whats the catch?

Another option is the 2 bedroom hospitality suites at the Mirage. I believe one of the rooms has 2 queens and the price is actually pretty good.

What about Elara VS MGM Signature? Prices are similar for the 2 bed suites - Sig is a little bigger but looks a bit dated, anyone been there recently? Do either offer any benefits in terms of associated clubs/pools and queue jump/entry etc?

Pools and clubs are separate from the property so you don't really get any love by staying at the hotel property.

Elara is a lot newer but behind PH and they are not connected. Hilton bought the location 2 years ago or so because originally it was being sold as individual high end condos or something through Planet Hollywood. They approcahed me while I stayed at PH to do the sales pitch thing in exchange for $300 in gambling chips a few years back that I passed on.

It is not a casino so the rates will always be cheaper since it is really a high end hotel location. I never read of any hidden things regarding it. May want to read the reviews, pretty god based on what it looks like on trip advisor:
