  • What serveware/utensils/drinkware are in the Cosmo Terrace Suite?

    Hello all,

I'm preparing for my stay in the Cosmo Terrace Suite...

I would like to know what serveware/utensils/drinkware (i.e. wine opener) are in the suite/available, so either I can bring them with me from NY or I can buy them.

We are 3 females and we are planning to drink, party, drink, party, and drink some more lol!

I'm also going to call concierge and find out what they will have (or can have available), but I wanted to get my list by hearing about your experiences.

    Thanks!

I recall seeing glasses and stuff to mix drinks with. I think you have to request serveware/utensils. If they charge for that, might as well walk across the street to the ABC store (Miracle Mile shops in PH) to buy liquor, utensils, etc.

Thanks for the response, but can you recall specifically what was the "stuff" to mix drinks with?

Was there a bottle opener/wine opener there?

I'm doing a delivery from Vons for the mixers, liquor, snacks, and cups

When I stayed there in a wraparound, there was a bottle and wine opener there. They actually had a full bar set (cocktail shaker, strainer, etc.). but flatware and plates weren't provided. Cups might've been, but there definitely wouldn't have been enough for us to use (there were 8 of us), so we just ordered that stuff from Vons.

Oh and as an aside- if you can, definitely pack some kind of bags to put the groceries in to take through the lobby. One of the bellhops gladly loaded everything on a cart for us and took the stuff upstairs, but he mentioned that management HATES it and said he'd be in less trouble if we had something to put the grocery bags in....and really, we could've saved ourselves money on tipping him if we had our own bags, cause we could've carried it.

ETA- Oops! Someone already answered you! :-) Yes, that is exactly what was there when I stayed!
I'm not bitchy, I'm just drawn that way.

Thanks for the Vons tip Tara,

I was thinking that too. I'm getting mixers, snacks, and bottles of liquor from Vons. I want to be low key with the groceries. I was thinking I would bring down our empty luggage and tote bags to bring up the items. Thanks for the tip!!

There's an extremely low chance that you'll be stopped while taking grocery bags in. I've done this several times at Cosmo. There is no security checking keys by the elevators at Cosmo. But if you were getting the bellhop to help you carry the bags in then yeah, probably a good idea.
