Resort fee reinstated at Palazzo/Venetian?

A couple of months ago as I was trying to book rooms at the Palazzo for a bachelor party I noticed there was a note stating resort fees were optional. Now fast forward to just a few days ago I was back at the site to confirm since we will be arriving this weekend and the note is now gone. Anyone else know anything about this or have stayed at the resort recently? I have booked 4 rooms and I have already priced them out to my group. If there is a fee, that is an additional 200 dollars total I rather not pay.

Just make sure your group knows not to use any of the amenities included in the fee. At check out they'll look and see if you haven't used any of them and then they can waive them. Thats at least how it worked for me last month.
