Would it be worth it to tell Cosmo the two rooms we reserved are for a bachelor party? Would there be any real benefit?

You can always try, though I imagine they get a lot of that. The guy that checked us in for my bachelorette/birthday weeekend gave us some really good perks (nice view, high floor, no resort fee, no extra person fee and food credits), but he was also possibly responding to the sandwich I gave him and/or my really pretty friend flirting with him.
I'm not bitchy, I'm just drawn that way.

I'd say the only benefit would come from a little extra $$$ at the front desk, especially since bachelor parties aren't exactly rare out here, like Tara said they probably hear that all the time anyway

        99.99% nope.

Your best bet would be to slide s/he a $50 bill and ask if you can have your rooms side-by-sde.

They may be more willing to accommodate a request for side-by-side rooms rather than "hey, it's my bachelor party". Some resorts purposely seperate "bachelor party" rooms by putting them on different floors, a pre-emptive move on their part to minimize disturbance to other guests. They feel it may minimize noise to have 1 party room isolated, rather than having 3 in a row for a massive jam-a-jam.

But then again, it all depends what kind of mood the person at the check-in desk is in
