  • Elara Pool Options - Planet Holleywood?

Just wondering what the nearby pool options are while staying at Elara?

Are you allowed to use PH pool for free?
    How is Elara's own Pool?

Stayed at Elara last May... we checked out on a Monday and surprisingly, the Elara pool was pretty busy for a regular hotel pool on Monday, but far from a "party pool". Pool is located right of the lobby check in. I think WET, Rehab and Marquee are the closest cab-wise party pools. We never attempted to use PH Pool, there's really no reason to.

In the strip mall that connects Elara to PH, that you walk through to get to PH, you will pass a food joint called Lobster Me. Amazing fast food with everything lobster. Best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life was there for $28. Just ask front desk for a couple extra room keys, security gaurd sits at the bottom of the elevators and you must flash it to get on. Never had a problem if there was a bunch of us with just one key, but you might encounter a dick who wants everyone to have a key. Other than that, they are the biggest rooms for the price on the strip. We always buy our booze at duty free before we board the flight to Vegas.. same price if not cheaper than Vegas stores for us.

I just came back from a stay at the Elara a few weeks ago. As stated above, the pool is not too bad for a hotel pool. Your food options are pretty good because of your proximity to things, but definitely hit up Lobster ME. Earl of sandwich is a great after party food option. We were able to get upgraded to a 2 bedroom king premiere suite from a regular 2 bedroom for a $50 sandwich, and we had pre-party/recovery/munchies delivered by Vons the day we checked in. Security will usually let up to 4 people up with one key, so if you get max room keys you should be fine. Great place to stay. You'll have a blast.
