Ok So I plan on packing some booze in my suitcase, but is there any place within walking distance of the Cosmo for decent price booze or do I need to venture off the strip to find a place like Wal-Mart... I just need a ton of beer and a couple of fifths.. I usually settle for just playing at the tables and buying 4 lokos at the lil convienance shops but I kinda got a nice room and wanna be able to pregame there..

Order some liquor from safeway.com and they'll deliver your first order free to your hotel room. There was a deal a few weeks back offering an additional $5 off and a free case of bottled water.

You can actually set up a time block to have them deliver. We're doing it right after we arrive to our hotel room. We arrive at 2:55 so I put 4-5 PM since I have to get to the hotel and check in. You can do 1 hour, 2 hour (save $3) or 4 hour (save $6). Here's another location:

There are walgreens every few blocks in Vegas, the prices are slightly higher than of strip locations, but convenience is key.

I believe there's an ABC Market/Store not too far from Cosmo that has decent priced liquor. It's across from Cosmo.

For Cosmo, that CVS/Walgreens/whatever it is on the corner of Harmon where you take a left from the airport is the PERFECT spot (and it guarantees your cabbie doesn't long haul you).

I know this is a little bit of an older thread, but has anyone ever been given problems by their hotel when ordering Safeway delivery?

I am placing an order for 3 bottles of liquor, 3 bottles of champagne, case of water, mixers, snacks etc. and don't want the MGM giving me a hard time about it
