Elara Suite Help!?

I stayed in the 2bedroom penthouse a few years back (2011) when the property was still PH Towers. My group and I loved the suite it was literally perfect for what we needed and the layout was fantastic.

I am going back this summer with a similar group(many of the same ppl) and were looking for essentially the same exact room. I have been looking at youtube videos / pictures of the rooms at Elara and it seems like they have changed what the 2 bedroom suite looks like.

Basically Im hoping someone can tell me what the fuck is going on hahaha. Has anyone stayed in one lately that can comment?

didnt look at the videos but from experience they have different variations of the two bedroom suite. i think the premier suite is on a higher floor usually and its at the end of the hallway while the other ones are just a studio and a suite connected together.

Stayed last May in a 2 bedroom after it became Elara...

This room is the premier 2 bedroom (more expensive than the standard) and on a high-floor, corner suite.

This is a standard 2 bedroom (which we had) which is a little cheaper than premier, generally on lower floors, and not many peaked corner suites (as in the video above) in this category because of the tower's design.

This room is also a premier 2 bedroom (more expensive than the standard) and on a high-floor, just a different location on the same premier floors. Shaped this way because of the way Elara is designed.

We tried to upgrade at check in with the $50 trickery, but the chick at the front desk was not having any of it. She barely made eye contact with us. They said those floors were reserved for "Hilton members", so if you sign up for their membership through Hilton, they will treat you better at check in. She was a pretty shitty front desk clerk, but that said, she did offer us as many room keys as we wanted. Having people up to the room past the security gaurd at the elevator was not a problem either. Just flash the key and walk past.

Awesome man thanks so much for the great response! Im deff going to have to sign up for a hilton membership before I book. Last time I went there the front desk clerk was kind of a bitch too.

The first two vids are connecting 1bdrm and jr suites. The last one is a 2bdrm corner suite. I think I've stayed in all of them except for the 4bdrm on the top floor back when it was PH. Haven't been back since. =/
