Was considering staying here in couple weeks for a quick get away with the wifey. Didn't really find much info other than top notch service and relaxation. Figured for $195/night during the week we'd give it a shot. Got just a few questions if anyone can help....

Do they really charge $20 per night to valet?

Is the front desk tip acceptable at a place such as this?

To be honest, the only reason im hesitant is because I know for a fact I can stay at the Cosmo and book a $160/night city room, tip $20 - $50 and get a Terrace Suite possibly a Wraparound....

very nice hotel.... just make sure you don't have a low floor like i did....

and yes they are one of the few that do charge for valet.

do you have a AMEX Plat card? you get free upgrades there with one... no harm in trying a tip sandwich but i suspect low odds of working...

No Plat card...have the Blue card but that wont do me any good I suspect. I assume there's normal parking if they charge for valet, valet is not the only option correct?
