Buy luxury goods in Vegas or here in the UK?

Hello,

I would like to know, from anyone's personal experience, if it'll be better to purchase luxury clothing and goods like a Gucci wallet/wash bag etc here in the UK or in Vegas. I simply don't know what the prices are like over there and how they compare to here in the UK.

Not sure honestly. I think right now it favors for you to buy things here slightly due to current exchange rate but I could be wrong

It depends.... I've found retail prices cheaper in Europe than the US.... don't ignore the sales tax that appears suddenly on top of the quoted prices when you pay for a product in the US.... for luxury items this is a lot of money.

Not sure about the UK market but last year I bought a few items on a Bvlgari boutique in Germany and I noticed they costed me 20% less than what they would have costed me in a boutique in California.

BUT... if you are looking for bargains I would say you can't beat the US. When stores decide to reduce prices they can become generous from time to time... plus we have plenty of luxury outlets around here.

There is nothing like shoping in Vegas..i feel like it may always be a little bit more expensive due to the tax.. I always hit the Louis Vuitton and Christian Louboutin store whenever we make it out to LV! The Gucci store is HUGE at the Crystals mall...
