MGM Executive Queen Suites

Has anybody stayed in the newly rennovated exec queen suites recently? Thoughts on them?

We have 4 of them booked up for my bach next week, should I be calling ahead to get rooms paired together so we're not a million miles from each other. Also, I've read about some people getting complimentary champagne etc to their rooms for being the bachelor...how do I go about that?!

Lastly, if I do a $50-$100 sandwhich what are the chances of me getting two of the rooms paired into a skyline marquee suite??

Room order seems to be:
executive queen suite
tower spa suite (similar price to one eqs)
tower one bedroom suite (similar price)
grand city view suite (1.5 times)
penthouse city view suite (1.5 times)
skyline marquee suite (3-4 times!)

i just don't think the upgrade sandwhich would be worth it unless its for the marquee suite. i guess it's a question of how likely it is.

MGM sucks on sandwich upgrades...I'd still give it a try, what do you have to lose? and you've got 2 choices of when and where, since MGM has the airport check in also.

Good point. So even if I check in at the airport and they reject me I can then just walk up to the hotel check-in and straight up try and tip them to upgrade.

I stayed in the executive king suite....there was a TON of room for one person and a pullout couch. There was only one TV
though that was on a swivel in the desk in the middle of the room...not that big of a deal. I have not had much luck getting
upgrading at MGM...they always seemed to booked at almost full occupancy. Give it a try...it can't hurt, but even you don't
get the upgrade, I think you'll be happy with the room.

I have a Tower One Bedroom Suite next weekend, and thinking of trying a $100 Sandwich Trick to get upgraded to Grand City View Suite. Is it worth it? Has anyone been at a Tower One Bedroom Suite or Grand City View Suite?
