  • Hotel or rent a house? large party for 10-15

Hey everyone, i'm trying to book some accommodation for a Bucks do in July and i'm looking for ideas, i reckon i've have about 10-15 coming and i've got a budget of $20,000-$25,000 for accommodation, whats the best plan of attack here? Hotel or rent a house? looking a 4 nights. thanks

With that amount of people, it's always a tough decision and a lot of work to plan for. The easiest choice would be to rent a house and call it a day. Now if you're looking to stay on the strip. you have many options. It just depends on your preferences/criteria and how the people want to be split up or all stay together. With the budget you have, I don't think it would be a problem staying on a trip. So let's say we go with your lower budget of$20K, and for 4 nights that's $5k a night to spend. There's many 2 bedrooms suites on the strip with decent pricing like Mirage, PH, MGM Signature, Jockey Club on the low end, and Caesars, Aria, and Bellagio on the higher end. These are all around central strip locations which are convenient. Without knowing your preferences and likes, it would be hard to pin point down to any specifics.

For last years trip with a group of 10 we stayed at The Cosmo and had a Bungalow and 2 x Terrace Suit - Bungalow sleeping 4 and each Terrace Suit sleeping 3.

There is only 1 bed in the Bungalow so not everyone has a bed to sleep in but the pros of it opening onto the day club outweighed the cons.

We drew straws to determine who got to stay in the Bungalow but most nights end with majority of the group in there so people would just fall asleep on the sofas - which are massive and not too bad to sleep on.

I'm pretty sure that would fall into your budget.

If I were you I would try an un-orthodox method and call the Jockey Club. The Jockey Club would be able to get you 4 rooms that will easily accommodate 3 per room. I would bet you they could do the 4 rooms for 4 nights for under $5K. That leaves you a lot more money for clubs / pools / etc... The Jockey Club isn't Encore by any stretch but it is LITERALLY connected to Cosmo.
