I wont go on MDW or LDW ever again....Pools, clubs jammed over capacity and your quoted mins are going to change. If you get a $5k min, expect it will go up when you check in. Hosts rarely honor the quoted mins on holidays. "Sorry bro, we can sell your spot for $7k today. Still want it"? No thank you. The previous post is correct that on non holiday weekends, those hotels you mentioned would be less than half the price.

It is certainly packed - the strip is heaving, prices from tables to buffets are upped, there are queues for everything BUT it will be a huge amount of fun and a great buzz so long as you are happy to pay a premium compared to other times of the year!
