I will be celebrating my 40th birthday with 15-20 friends and can't decide between MGM and Mirage. I love MGM pool and have heard the pool at Mirage can get way overcrowded. I do plan on renting cabanas though. Like the looks of Hospitality Suite at Mirage for a meeting/starting point and don't see anything comparable at MGM besides Terrace Suites, don't want signature, but have to have a key card for elevator? Pain to have people coming and going. Right? My other concern is the cost of Mirage. MGM is more affordable especially when I'm asking peolpe to travel from out of state but then I think "its my birthday". Do you guys have any comments or opinions?

I have stayed at both and I prefer Mirage because of location and I like their sportsbook/casino. Bars and restaurants I would give the overall edge to MGM. I stayed at MGM in fall so I cant speak about the pool or Wet Republic, but I do like Mirage's and if you want something more they do have Bare. MGM is having some very good deals right now thoughLas Vegas is sort of like how God would do it if he had money. ~Steve Wynn -
