  • Best place for mid 20s in early May...Last minute trip

We got the opportunity to book a last minute trip with 2 of my good friends. We have to have it booked by the 8th so I do not have much time for research.

Just trying to figure out the best place for 3 guys to stay for 3 nights in early May. We are all in our mid 20s and looking for a good casino and nightlife and close walking distance to everything else. On the strip would be nice.

Price range is mid to low end...so probably not Ceasers Palace haha. We want a good chance to get an upgrade with the sandwich as it worked for me at MGM and PH Towers.

I have stayed at MGM and it was too far away and I have also stayed at PH Towers but I think it changed names.

Please any suggestions would help! Thank You!

Take a look at Mirage or Planet Hollywood. Both good locations and nice casinos and a lot lighter on the wallet than Cosmo, Caesars, Wynn, or Bellagio. On a side note, even though MGM might be more of a walk I would expect it to be a great time on that end with new clubs opening.

Probably better chance of sandwich success at PH....
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Perfect..... if you decide to forget about location, Palms and Hard Rock both have good deals now. But if its about location, I say roll with PH or NYNY

I have stayed at: Mandalay Bay, Aria, Flamingo, Excalibur, Hooters, PH Towers / Elara, Monte Carlo, Venetian, Luxor, LV Hilton, Rio, Mirage, MGM, Hard Rock Hotel, Planet Hollywood, Stratosphere, Tuscany, Tropicana, and rented a 6BR house. I think thats all.

Which clubs/dayclubs are inside PH or NYNY or Mirage?

The whole thing about picking which hotel we stay at is which one gives us the most perks and save us the most money for club entrances.

We were thinking MGM because apparently we can get into Wet Republic for free during the day.

Mirage has Bare and 1OAK...not sure being a hotel guest matters at either though.
            NYNY has....nothing
            Planet Hollywood has Gallery

If it's dayclub/nightclub perks you want then Venetian/Palazzo, Cosmo, or Wynn would be the place to be. Pricewise though...they're in another league than the aforementioned.

Imperial Palace for location and sheer bang for buck value! I'm just kidding.

I think the Mirage is your best bet. Still a very nice hotel for the price, and is right in the middle in the action. MGM is really far away from everything IMO.

nevermind I just read that the only day clubs are at Encore, Marquee, and MGM I think....none of them allow free access other than MGM before 1....sound right?

There's Bare - but it's not as big as WR, EBC, MDC

Ditch Fridays @ Palms is good. You can send Chad Noyes (contact at the Palms) for info about whether you can get access through your room key.
