  • MGM Signature for a Bachelor Party - Post Hak

    Hello All,

I'm currently planning a Bachelor party from May 30 - June 2, and was hoping to get some info. We have a group of six and were circling three options: 1) 2 BR in MGM signature 2) 2 City rooms at cosmo 2) two rooms at venetian.

The prices for each are relatively the same: $180-220/pp, but the VIBE's are different. I stayed at Venetian before and honestly there wasn't a lot of action just running around the hotel.

    My questions:

    1) I've heard the vibe at MGM is very mellow (not a lot of action), do you think having both Hak and Wet will greatly change the atmosphere (more party goers)?

    2) Do a lot of people that party at wet stay at MGM?

    3) Do any of these hotels offer any privileges for hotel guests in regards to nightclub/pool party entry?

    4) Does the room even matter? I'm the only single guy, so I don't think anyone else will be looking to have "friends" come up.

Since these guys are in relationships they have to keep at arms-length, and I'm concerned they will not be able to get see as much action at if we stayed away from cosmo/ventian etc. We are really looking for the best bang/buck, and any insight is much appreciated.

I would stay at the venetian if it were me. They usually comp to tao beach and sometimes tao I believe. I don't think MGM offers anything but it would be cool with HAK opening up. Cosmo usually comps to Marquee dayclub or they did when I was there. If you were talking about two terrace studios at cosmo I would say that would be the way to go but the city room has no balcony. I just think the venetian is beautiful and right across from wynncore which has the best clubs IMO

That being said I am staying at MGM in May and banking on it being as popping as Cosmo, Wynn or Venetian with Hak opening up

Thanks for the response. Will you be at the Signature or the MGM? I hear the sig is far removed from the action, which concerns me. Any experiences with this?

Stayed at the Signature on my last trip - for a bachelor party I wouldn't recommend it. Yes your only a short walk (approx 15 mins iirc) to the MGM but in terms of a vibe the Signature didn't have one when I was there (we spent most of our time at the MGM complex where the pools are far better). Saying that the Signature's had nice rooms, 2 bed suite and was good to 'get away' from it all...probably not what you want for a bachelor party.

Would personallyt stay at the MGM.

Would either go with Venetian or Cosmo. Venetian if you care more about the room, Cosmo if you care more about the party vibe (really would try to get a terrace room though)
            2016 (past) - none
            2016 (upcoming) - June 10th - 13th. Venetian. Invasion schedule

I've stayed at Palazzo and Cosmo. When comparing the Bella suite (Palazzo/Venetian) and the Terrace Suite, I would choose Cosmo. The balcony with view of the fountains at Cosmo wins. Cosmo is newer, the design of the casino attracts females, better party vibe as mentioned above. Can't go wrong with Marquee.
