  • How's Flamingo?

Going to Vegas March 28th for 4 nights.. Exactly one year since I went same dates and everything which is crazy how that turned out.

Last year we stayed in Elara, which was dope but sucked having to walk to get the the casino and stuff.. I really like PH tho but the GO room for 4 nights is 284 bucks which will save us some money.

What you think Flamingo or just shell out and extra 150 between either 3 or 4 of us for a HollyWood Hip

check out this thread for more info on Flamingo to help make your choice:

PH is nicer than Flamingo. Better casino vibe, great location directly across from Cosmo. Also PH and Elara are different so if you're staying at PH you don't have to walk as far to get to the Casino.
With that being said, I didn't have any problems when I stayed at Flamingo. I've stayed at both, had a great time at both. My next trip will probably be back at PH.

      +1 for what Mike said.

If you are only looking for a room and don't care about the rest of the property then the Flamingo is fine. If you want a property that you can hang out at or eat at then I'd say PH. Flamingo has zero nightlife options and no restaurants worth spending time at (unless you like Johnny Rockets).

Oh yeah...and PH has Earl of Sandwich!

I've had success with upgrade sandwiches at both properties so make sure you have a $20 ready at check-in!

For those that have stayed at Flamingo, do you gamble on property? I cant stand their casino floor so is it a decent place to crash or do you hang out at the Flamingo during the day?

I gambled at the Flamingo a bit...mostly when I was waiting on others to get ready. I preferred the Margaritaville casino...decent music and a little better vibe. The main casino floor was a bit depressing. The pool area is cool so it's a much better location during the summer.

Agreed, Flamingo has one of the coolest pools on the strip. The pool at PH is a disappointment
