Does anyone know if I can get away with not having a credit card at Aria? I'm not sure if they request a damage deposit and deposit for room service? I will have cash on hand so I can pay the deposits and any room service with cash?

Last couple MGM properties I wasn't asked to give one. Maybe because it was m life an comped I'm not really sure. Aria might be different tho. i believe you can put cash down as a damage/room service deposit but you'll be limited to how much you can charge to the room or charge anything at all... But they should have a cash option for you. I believe a friend of mine did cash last time at Venetian and they wanted 300 for the weekend and he got it back when he checked out but couldn't charge anything at all to the room.2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). You should be fine. I have never heard of a place not accepting cash. Just realize that if paying cash they usually require a fairly large deposit but will give it back to you upon checkout. Also as was already mentioned usually can't charge anything to the room so keep that in mind.Clubs I have visited:

Yes you shouldn't have any problems getting a room without a cc. It is more of a convenience issue. The only thing they would likely do is shut off services like movies and phone etc unless you choose to leave a deposit at the properties set minimum per night.Comment

hmm instead of giving cash i'd be more comfy giving even a prepaid ive heard amex new prepaid cards have some protection and benefits for some reason it seems like businesses may be more tempted to keep some part of a cash deposit... so hard to traceComment

I have done a cash deposit before at Rio. Everything worked fine. The thing that sucks if using credit card, is they take so long after you have checked out to release your credit card funds. I've had it take 5 days before, but with cash, I get it at check out. That way, i always leave Vegas with some cash. LOLtwitter: @HNIC_Shoe
