Hey there looking for some input. Heading down in May with gf and a few friends. Trying to decide between Strip view standard room at Monte Carlo and a Hollywood Hip Room, price almost identical so not a factor between the two. Stayed at Mirage and Monte Carlo before. Thanks for your opinions.

I personally like PH, but have never stayed at Monte Carlo. PH is a bit more center-strip than MC and is connected (via skybridge) to Cosmo, which is nice. You may need to slip in a $20 upgrade sandwich to get a strip view at PH. -
planet hollywood is a fun place plus the location is killer so i second planet hollywood

If price is the same, I'd PH over Monte Carlo any day. PH has a younger crowd, better location, and nicer rooms. Last time I stayed at MC it was really run down, staff was unfriendly and it's location isn't as central.Comment

With everyone else. PH is a lot nicer and more centered so easier to walk places like Cosmo. I like both hotels but for a younger crowd go with PH. Also MC has resort fees and PH does not.Comment

Thanks to all for the advice, the resort fee was figured into my price comparison. Been a few years since was at MC so wasnt sure the state of it. Can't wait for trip, countdown begins!Comment

PH because of location. Also, the upgrade sandwich worked for me at PH before, got a strip view.Comment
