Luxor - Half-off from Bookit.com TONIGHT ONLY

In case anyone is thinking of staying at the Luxor (maybe for an Invasion?), Bookit.com is offering half off their rates tonight when you use code HPHTLUXOR. The catch is you have to book during the BCS game half-time break tonight. Not sure it's worth the hassle, but figured I'd share.

For the May Invasion, it would bring rates down to about $40/night.

An email directly from Bookit.com. I'm on hold with them right now trying to get it sorted...

If you want to book, call their toll free number, tell them you got an email advertising half off during half time, and that the code won't work. They will honor it over the phone. Not sure what's going on with the website :/

Yeah, I got them to honor the code over the phone... Ended up being about $250, including taxes, for May 16-21.

anybody been to luxor recently? some of the people in my group have suggested it mostly b/c of low cost (rather use their money on other stuff)...i was there like 6 years and it wasn't so good. wondering if they changed at all?

The Luxor gives me the creeps....feels like a tomb...but for a cheap crash pad...I spose

Yeah Im not a huge fan but it has its share of positives. Tender is supposed to be a really good place for steaks. Some decent places for drinks and of course its not expensive.

I'm not a huge fan of Luxor either, but as of right now I'm heading to the May Invasion solo, so cheap is good! Lol. The room is fully refundable, so if I find a better place for a similar rate or can convince a friend to come, I'll be quick to change!
