Bachelor party in march

Goin to Vegas for my bachelor party the last weekend in march, thurs to Sunday, 3/28 - 3/31. About ten guys. What's the best hotel to stay at, and best pool party and bars to hit?

If it's in your budget stay at Cosmo...otherwise I'd suggest Planet Hollywood. Not totally sure how many pool parties will be going by then....little early in the year. If Marquee Dayclub is open you can get free access with your Cosmo room key on Fridays I think, same with the Nightclub. Cosmo has a bunch of awesome bars in the casino and a real party atmosphere.

The best pool parties of late have been Marquee Day Club, Encore Beach Club, Tao Beach, and Wet Republic. Next year some new places are in the mix. Bagatelle, Hakkasan, Ushuaia are going to be open next year....but I'm not sure if they'll be open by then.

Cosmo bars are tough to beat...there's something for everyone. DB's at Planet Hollywood is a new spot that's supposed to be great. They've got beer pong and lots of good specials, and they're open after hours. I've always enjoyed MIX Lounge at THE Hotel. Hyde is a must stop for a drink behind the fountains.

Thanks for the tips. Looks like we're doin Aria from Wednesday 3/27 - Sunday 3/31. Any recommendations? Is liquid a good pool party or should we go to a different spot? How about haze? Any other suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks.

As far as Liquid goes, it will be open then but the weather is hit or miss in March. It's best on Thursday and Saturday.

Haze is best on Thursday if you like open format music, and Friday if you prefer EDM only.

I stayed at Aria my last two trips. Even the standard rooms are quite large and the entire property is really nice. They have a great sportsbook also. Definitely eat at Julian Serano. The buffet isn't anything special. If you want a great buffet go over to Cosmo or Bellagio. It's connected to Monte Carlo so if you want some cheap eats/drinks you can head over there easily too.

Currently planning one also for a group of 8. Looked at Aria, PH, Elara, & Venetian/Palazzo, but decided to stay Cosmo. They are all great properties in a great location

If you all are planning on having a nice dinner one night (i.e. - STK, Botero, N9ne, etc) make sure you make reservations sooner than later with a group that size.

also doing a 10 guy party in march (first weekend)...thru the kind folks on these message boards I have gotten some great info...we put a hold a bunch rooms at a bunch of different places so we can decide later...best bet is the deal at MGM with one of their skyline marquee suites. looks like it will hold a bunch of people and accommodate 'in room entertainment'. also considering elara property at planet hollywood. lots of bigger suites there. definitely gonna hit spearmint rhino.

checking around the other threads for nightclub help. there is tons of great advice on this forum. still checking out steak options but those from reasonabledoubt are among the best i've seen.

DB's at planet hollywood and a box/suite at the lagasse stadium sportsbook look like good ways to kill a few hrs during the day b/c i don't think the pools will be up and swinging yet.

My buddy also just noticed the deals at MGM grand too. So we might look into the suites for our stay at the end of march instead of staying at Aria like originally planned. Gonna call tomorrow to get some more info.

Definitely will man! Haha. I'll probably be going to Haze or Marquee on one night, and XS or Surrender during the next. Still haven't decided yet though. Also, staying at the Wynn.
