Long, long time reader. With my upcoming trip being the 6th I figured it's time to finally join.
I'm heading to a convention at MGM in March and a couple mates are tagging along. We'll be flying in 4-5 days before the convention starts to abuse ourselves before the work starts.
There'll be 3 of us, possibly 4. We need a minimum of 2 beds. We have a $4-5k budget for accommodation for the 7th-14th March.
I'd like to stay at Cosmo for the 7th-10th (Thursday-Sunday). Really trying my best to find a wraparound for a decent price, but for 3 nights the cheapest I've found is $2800. As we'd like 2 beds we'd need a connecting room, however the WTS only connects to a 1 bedroom, which is $1280 for the 3 nights. So already we're at >$4k and we're not even halfway through the trip. I've read in the how to get Cosmo cheap thread that people have been scoring the WTS for 400-500 a night through the LNF deal, but on every site I can't find anything that's cheaper than Cosmo's site, ie LNF unmatchable.
Accommodation for Sunday-Wednesday (convention dates) is pretty much sorted - we're thinking of just getting an executive queen suite at MGM which is just under $500.
The last night however (Wednesday night, 13th) we want to go somewhat big. At this point we were hoping to have spent around $4k, leaving $1k to spend on some ridiculous suite. I know that midweek prices can be quite cheap. If anyone has any suggestions on what suite to go for that'd be great. We won't require 2 beds as I doubt much sleeping will be had that night. If we do the floor will feel comfortable I'm sure.
